Unas vacaciones a un hermoso pais donde abunda el eco turismo pueden terminar siendo una experiencia tan increible como ir al parque nacional Yosemite en California.
A vacations in a beautifull country where there´s a lot of eco turism, could end it being such an amaising experience as a a yosemite´s national park vacations.
En Colombia hay una increíble diversidad tanto cultural como geologica y ambiental, a 2 horas de Medellin, una de las mas importantes ciudades de este pais se encuentra uno de los principales pueblos turisticos del oriente antioqueño, éste se llama Guatape y allí abundan los verdes paisajes; ya que es un pueblo entre las montañas, rodeado por bosques y un enorme embalse creado por una represa.
In Colombia there´s an incredibke diversity as cultural and enviromental, at 2 hours from Medellin, one of the most important cities in this country there´s one of the main turistic towns in Antioquia´s east, this in named Guatape, and there abound the green landscapes so is between the mountains , surrounded by forest and a lake that is made by a dam.
A 5 km de allí encontramos la piedra del peñol, un monolito de granito de 120 mts de altura, que no solo hace parte del patrimonio nacional sino que ademas es uno de los principales potenciales parques de escalada en Colombia.
5 miles from there we found la piedra del peñol, a monolith of granite with 393 feet high, not only part of the nationalheritage but also one of the main potencial rock climbing park in colombia.
Aquí nuestros amigos Carl y Peter de California pudieron disfrutar de la altura de la piedra al escalar sus diferentes rutas , donde probaron distintas técnicas como fricción de pies, dulfer o babaro, empotre de pies para grieta, entre otros.

Toda una mañana en la base roca aprendiendo sobre la historia cultural y patrimonial del pueblo y sus alrededores, llevando el cuerpo a enfrentar sus limitaciones y superarlas después de aprender las técnicas que se usan para desarrollar el deporte sobre esta roca con rutas de 30mts de altura en promedio; entre deportiva, mixta y clásica.
A full morning at rock base learning about cultural and patrimonial history of town and it´s surrenders, taking their bodies to the limit, and then succeded over it after learn all the tecnics used to do the sport in the zone with routes of 98 feets high, betwen sport, mix and classic climb.
Durante las 5 horas que estuvimos en este agradable entorno pudimos apreciar golondrinas, alcones y cuervos, al final de la actividad descansamos en el balcón del restaurante la mona, que se encuentra a borde de carretera, nos cominos unas deliciosas truchas y róbalos para reponer las energías gastadas durante una emocionante mañana de escalada, rapeles de 20mts, vias ferratas y caminatas por los increíbles senderos del camino de aproximación a la base roca.

During the 5 hours we been in this nice enviroment, we could wash golondrinas, falcons and crows, to finish the activity we take a rest in the balcony of la mona´s restaurant, that is by the road, we ate some delicius truchas and robalos fishes to recover our energy after an excitement morning of rock climbing, 65 feets high rapels, via ferrata, and trekking arround the path nearest to the base rock.
